PIOTR KONKOL

I work with everyday people, climbers, and powerlifters. Those are the three main groups behind my diagnostics, planning, and progress. I coach in person in Gdansk at Magnum Fitness Jabloniowa and Husarz Gym.

METHOD

RPE, load management, movement diagnostics

Piotr Konkol. Recovery and training optimization. Coach, former WRPF deadlift world record holder, and senior software engineer. I specialize in working with people who want to return to activity after a break, remove movement restrictions, or reach a higher level in their sport. I also coach powerlifters in competition prep.

I perform full movement diagnostics, remove asymmetries, and optimize exercise technique. I build training plans on biomechanics and autoregulation (RPE). I work with climbers, powerlifters, and people who want safe and efficient movement in daily life. I build the foundation for long-term, pain-free loading of the nervous system and movement apparatus. I translate analytical systems thinking into training process design.

Secondary targets include athletes needing motor preparation and strength athletes outside powerlifting, but I do not foreground that in the main message.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Training is an adaptation tool. There is no point doing things that cannot be sustained for months or years. A plan that is a bit simpler but executed consistently beats an impressive plan that dies in practice.

Load management matters more than blind load progression. If session cost rises faster than adaptation, the plan is wrong.

Every exercise must have a purpose: strength, technique, neurological, or movement. No junk volume. If it does not move the process, it gets cut.

Autoregulation is mandatory. RPE, video review, subjective readiness, sleep, fatigue, and life context are part of the program, not an add-on.

The specializations are concrete: climbing, powerlifting, return to performance, and working with people who want to regain capacity without wrecking the movement system.

Longevity beats a one-time hype peak. The best athletes are the ones who can train for years without constantly starting from zero.

Diagnosis first, stimulus second. If the restriction is in the joint, nervous system, or coordination, we do not brute-force volume blindly.
